What is a disposable relay?

My colleague say he uses disposable relays but the phrase sounds bad. Are there disposable relays or is he referring to cube relays? thanks!

I've never heard anyone use the term
disposable relay. From the sound of it, I would say he is referring to a relay that can easily changed out. Something like a cube relay...
