What is Parker EXTERNAL TRIP alarm mean on a Parker AC drive? I'm looking for a simple explanation as to what external trip means.
And how do you clear the external trip alarm from a Parker AC drive?

the Parker manual says: User trip caused via control terminals, +24V not present on external trip (e.g. terminal 19, Macro 1).
This alarm is most likely caused by the machinery or equipment having a fault or problem which resulted in the external fault contactor opening/closing to notify the drive that there is a problem with the machinery/equipment.
