The manual says: The drive heatsink temperature is too high. The ambient air temperature is too high. Poor ventilation or spacing between drives.
To clear a heatsink alarm you will need to lower the heatsink temperature within the drive. Suggestions from the manual are all reasons for overheating, you just need to find the source of the excessive heat and rectify the situation. Once you lower the temperature or allow the drive to cool off, you can press the "E" button to clear the alarm.
Typically a heatsink alarm is symbolic of overloading problems in one way or another. Whether the drive is overloaded because of degraded internal components or something external is causing the drive to work too hard.
