What is Fanuc SV0304 Alarm?

Looking for some better info on this servo fault and some other Fanuc servo alarms.  Any Fanuc maintenance technicians have details or a good, simple explanation for the SV0304 alarm?

APC ALARM: PARITY ERROR Since the absolute-position detector caused a parity error, the correct machine position could not be obtained. (data transfer error)
