What is Fanuc SV0302 Alarm?

Looking for some better info on this servo fault and some other Fanuc servo alarms.  Any Fanuc maintenance technicians have details or a good, simple explanation for the SV0302 alarm?

What is Fanuc SV0302 Alarm?

APC ALARM: OVER TIME ERROR Since the absolute-position detector caused an overtime error, the correct machine position could not be obtained.

(data transfer error)

The absolute-position detector, cable, or servo interface module is thought to be defective.
